Function expansion of external temperature probe:

The testo 830-T4 infrared thermometer can be optionally equipped with and connected with an external temperature probe to realize another channel of contact temperature measurement (such as for comparison) while conducting infrared non-contact surface temperature measurement. We provide a large number of different types of thermocouple temperature probes for selection, such as air temperature probes, liquid and semi-solid medium temperature probes and surface temperature probes.

The contrast test with the contact surface temperature probe can help to determine the emissivity of the object surface. Input and set the correct emissivity in the infrared thermometer to achieve the most accurate infrared measurement value.

When meeting the surface with extremely low emissivity, we recommend to use reflective sticker (optional) or contact surface probe (optional) for temperature measurement.
